Step 2: Installing KeeWeb on Ubuntu with Docker.
Once installed, Docker daemon should be automatically started. KeeWeb (Linux, macOS, Windows, Online) more alternatives can be found in Detailed Informations. The best alternative is Bitwarden, which is both free and Open Source. There are more than 100 alternatives to KeeWeb for a variety of platforms, including Mac, Windows, Linux, Android and iPhone.
#KEEWEB LINUX INSTALL#
My idea is to merge keeweb into this package (replacing this one by keeweb). Install KeeWeb on Ubuntu 22.0420.04 with Docker Step 1: Install Docker CE on Ubuntu 20.04. KeeWeb is described as Web and desktop password manager compatible with KeePass and is a very popular password manager in the security & privacy category. Both are questionable choices and I think (even if this require a bit more decencies and sed hacking) that the package keeweb better integrates with the system (not installed in /opt, name in lowercase keeweb, like any other UNIX tool and is way lighter as it doesn't come with electron built-in). This package installs in /opt and has a name written in capital letter (KeeWeb). Also, as this package basically reuse binaries, it should be named keeweb-bin or keeweb-desktop-bin. Following a discussion initiated by email a few months ago with fthiery and some discussion with Arch TU on IRC, I think keeweb should be merged into this package.ĪUR packages should always be built from source when available and not rely on binaries (I think there is even a rule about this on the wiki).
